Couture SS19: Swimming Caps.

I love flicking through new catwalk shows. It takes me back to when I was a young student studying fashion and feeling so excited about it all the time and 'wanting to do it too!' Nowadays, having 'done' it, I now find myself further analysing shows, pondering on their inspiration, wondering what a certain fabric was, what I would call that particular shade of pink.

For the SS19 Couture shows, I was totally head over heels for the swimming cap styling!! My favourite 'fashion' decade has always been the decadent 1920s and the couture shows really reminded me of Cecil Beaton's photograph - The Soapsuds Group at the Living Poster Ball, 1928.
